  1. What is WhatsApp Business and API Co-Existence?
    It’s the ability to use the WhatsApp Business app on your mobile device while simultaneously connecting it to the power of WhatsApp Cloud API through WOZTELL. Same number, double functionality.

  2. Do I need a specific version of the WhatsApp Business app?
    Yes, you need version 2.24.17 or higher to activate Co-Existence.

  3. Can I still use the WhatsApp app as usual?
    Yes! You can continue sending and receiving messages from the app as always. Plus, you’ll gain access to many more features through WOZTELL.

  4. What if I’m already using LeadConnector or another provider?
    You’ll need to delete your WABA account, reinstall the WhatsApp Business app, and restart the setup process with WOZTELL.

  5. Can I keep using my same WhatsApp number?
    Yes. Your number doesn’t change. You simply connect it to WOZTELL without losing chat history or contacts.

  6. Are my previous chats synced?
    Yes. The last 6 months of 1:1 conversations are automatically synced.

  7. Can I send broadcast lists from the app?
    No. Broadcast lists are disabled. But WOZTELL allows WhatsApp mass messaging with no 256-contact limit and no risk to your account.

  8. What features are lost when Co-Existence is activated?
    Disappearing messages, “view once” content, group chats, and voice/video calls are disabled. WOZTELL provides alternatives for these features.

  9. Is sending messages still free?
    Yes — if you reply within 24 hours or the customer initiates the conversation, it’s free.

  10. What is the 24-hour window?
    It’s the period in which you can reply at no cost. After 24 hours, you must use a paid message template.

  11. How much does it cost to send messages outside the 24-hour window?
    Around $0.05 USD per message, depending on the template type (Marketing, Utility, Authentication).

  12. Can I send templates from the app?
    No. Templates are managed through WOZTELL or your CRM.

  13. Do I need to link my account to a Facebook Page?
    Yes, it’s required to activate Co-Existence.

  14. Which countries are not compatible with Co-Existence?
    Currently not supported in: India, Japan, Australia, Nigeria, Philippines, Russia, South Korea, South Africa, Turkey, and all EU/EEA/UK.

  15. Can I use a supported country number even if I operate from a non-supported one?
    Yes, as long as you comply with local regulations and Meta’s policies.

  16. Can I disable Co-Existence later?
    Yes. You can stop using the WhatsApp Cloud API anytime by disabling it from the app.
