  • Language is the language that you are writing this specific template message you want to validate. Have in mind that WhatsApp does not allow phrases that mix multiple languages, neither grammar errors.

Note: If you use your company name in the template, but it is a real word and does not match the language of your message, it is possible that WhatsApp will deny the template. In this case, just exclude your company name, or have its logo in an image in the template and try validating the message again.

How to send a template from a list?

From a Cliq channel, the agent can request the list of validated templates, get the code and send it. This is a quick way to send templates that do not contain parameters.

=> Request the list of validated templates

  1. In a channel, write /w - list, and click entre twice to directly check the approved templates, or write /w - list click in the box See available template and pulse any key to view the approved, pending or rejected list option. Click in the list you want to open.

2. After selecting the list, it will appear showing up to 100 templates:

In the table the agent will find:

  • Code: the unique ID that is used to send a template

  • Language: the language in which is written the template content.

  • Template: it is the template content

3. Send the template you choose from approved template list by writing /w #code and click enter

Note: this option just allows you to use templates without parameters.

How to send a template from a form?

The benefit to send a template form a form instead of a list is that you can send messages with parameters in addition to the standard template messages.

  1. In a Cliq channel, write /w -send, and click enter twice

2. A form will pop up, enter the information as described below:

  • Code: select template from the list.

  • Body: when you select the template code from a list you will see the text in this field.

If you select a template with parameters, the parameter fields will appear to be completed. Below is an example of a template with one parameter:

Parameter {{1}}. In the case you selected a template with more parameters, more fields will show up, like Parameter {{2}}, Parameter {{3}}, and so on until a maximum of ten parameters.

When filling the parameters fields, you can use fixed value or dynamic value based on information that is registered in the CRM for Lead or Contact information.

They differ as you can see below:
  • Fixed value

Imagine you have a template like this:

"Hello {{1}}, we evaluated our project and it will cost {{2}}, including the {{3}} and {{4}}. Please reply for continuing this conversation"

In this case, you could have the following text in the parameter fields:

  • Parameter {{1}}: John

  • Parameter {{2}}: USD 500

  • Parameter {{3}}: development, implementation

  • Parameter {{4}}: training

When you click to send this template, the text will be sent as:

"Hello John, we evaluated our project and it will cost USD 500, including the development, implementation, and training. Please reply for continuing this conversation"

  • Dynamic value

You can fill the parameter fields with variables that will bring the information from the Lead or Contact information that is recorded in the CRM.

These are the possible variables, and you need to write it in the parameter field with the hashtag and capital letter.
