February 2026 Update: New Interface for WhatsApp Conversation History in Zoho CRM

The updated interface for the “WhatsApp Conversation History” related list in Zoho CRM is now live!  

This update focuses on improving visualization and navigation. There are no major changes to functionality or workflow.


What Has Changed  

Improved Layout and Navigation  

The conversation history has been redesigned to provide better readability and a more organized structure. Users can review messages more clearly and navigate conversations more efficiently.
Company-managed phone numbers are now displayed in the left panel. This allows users to quickly switch between different WhatsApp channels.

Enhanced Media Handling  

The new interface improves how multimedia content is displayed and managed:
  • Images, stickers, and other multimedia files can be viewed directly within the conversation history
  • Audio files can be played directly without additional downloads
  • Attachments include an automatic download option for easier file management

Improved Template Rendering  

Template messages are now displayed more similarly to how they appear on mobile devices.
  1. Full template content is visible
  2. Associated buttons are displayed when included
  3. Some templates include a “Tap to load” option, which renders the template content when clicked

Quick Access Buttons  

The interface now includes additional action buttons for faster navigation:
  • Open the conversation directly in Woztell using the thread link
  • Open the conversation in the corresponding Cliq channel, when the integration is installed and the channel exists
  • Use the “Inbox” button to automatically redirect to the corresponding conversation in the Inbox

 

Availability  

The new interface has been enabled for all users using the Zoho CRM integration. No configuration changes are required.
