How to Trigger WhatsApp Template Messages from KlickTipp Outbound Events with WOZTELL & Make
This guide explains how to automatically send WhatsApp template messages using WOZTELL, triggered by outbound events in KlickTipp (such as campaigns or specific actions).
Ideal for marketing automation, customer follow-up, or transactional notifications.
Flow Overview
Your Make scenario uses 2 modules:
1. KlickTipp – Watch New Events: Monitors KlickTipp for outbound actions or campaign triggers.
2. WOZTELL | Unleash WhatsApp – Send WhatsApp Template Message: Sends a WhatsApp template message when an event is detected.
Flow diagram:
1. Monitor KlickTipp Events
- Add the KlickTipp – Watch New Events module in Make.
- Connect your KlickTipp account.
- Configure the module to listen for outbound triggers (such as campaign completions, tag updates, or custom actions).
- Each detected event acts as a trigger for your WhatsApp message.
2. Send WhatsApp Template Message (WOZTELL)
- Add the WOZTELL | Unleash WhatsApp – Send WhatsApp Template Message module.
- Connect your WOZTELL account.
- Select your pre-approved WhatsApp template.
- Map recipient details and any relevant variables from KlickTipp event data (e.g., contact name, campaign, offer).
- The module will send your WhatsApp message automatically when the event occurs.
Best Practices
- Prepare and approve your WhatsApp template ahead of time in WOZTELL.
- Make sure KlickTipp events provide all required info for message personalization.
- Test the flow with sample events to confirm correct mapping and delivery.
- Use Make’s logs for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Result
When a KlickTipp outbound event is triggered (e.g., campaign completion, new tag),
your scenario will automatically send a WhatsApp template message via WOZTELL to the relevant contact.
Next Steps
- Extend the flow with conditional logic for different templates based on event type.
- Log sent messages for reporting and analytics.
- Integrate with other tools (CRM, Google Sheets) for advanced automation.
