You can verify your business with Meta directly from your WOZTELL account — no need to open Meta Business Manager, contact support, or wait days for a review. This is called Partner-Led Business Verification (PLBV): as an official Meta Business Partner, WOZTELL reviews your documents and submits your business to Meta for verification on your behalf.
Verification unlocks the full capabilities of the WhatsApp Business Platform: 2,000 business-initiated conversations per day (up from 250), up to 20 phone numbers (up from 2), your display name visible in chats, and eligibility for the Official Business Account badge. See Meta Business Verification for the full comparison of verification paths.
Have the following ready — most rejections happen because of mismatched information, not invalid businesses:
You have 3 attempts to complete verification. After 3 failed attempts, you will need to complete the standard process directly with Meta (see Meta Business Verification inside Meta Business Manager), so review your documents carefully before each submission.
You must upload at least 2 valid documents:
1. Proof of business existence (required) — one of:
2. Proof of business activity (required) — one of:
3. Additional document (optional, strengthens your submission):
File requirements: PDF, JPG or PNG, max 5 MB per file.
Every document must show your business legal name. Utility bills are only valid as proof of address and phone number — never as proof of legal name on their own.
Not accepted:
Accepted documents vary by country — see the country-by-country table in Meta Business Verification.
Step 2: Set up your submission
Step 3: Upload your documents
If a file is rejected ("This file format or size is not supported"), check that it is a PDF, JPG or PNG under 5 MB and upload it again.
Step 4: Review and submit
Review your business details and documents, then click Submit documents.
Your documents are first reviewed by the WOZTELL team and then submitted to Meta for verification. You don't need to do anything else — we'll email you as soon as there's an update, and you can check the status anytime in your channel's Meta Business Verification section.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Not started | You haven't submitted a verification yet. |
| In progress | Your documents are being reviewed by our team and Meta. Most reviews resolve within a few hours; some can take longer. |
| Approved | Your business is verified. Advanced WhatsApp features are now active on your account. |
| Failed | The verification could not be completed. The status panel shows exactly what needs attention (for example, an address mismatch). Fix the issue and click Start verification again. Each failed attempt reduces your remaining attempts. |
| Discarded | The verification process was cancelled before completion. You can start again if you have attempts remaining. |
The status panel in WOZTELL tells you the specific reason. The most common ones:
Fix the issue, then click Start verification again. Remember you have 3 attempts in total — if you're unsure about a document, contact our support team before resubmitting.
Most submissions resolve within a few hours. Some can take longer if Meta requires additional review. You'll receive an email as soon as the outcome is available.
No. WOZTELL reviews your submission and sends it to Meta with the required evidence, but Meta makes the final decision. A submission through WOZTELL does not guarantee approval.
No. If a verification is already in progress in the Meta Security Center, you cannot continue here until that process is resolved.
The "Verified" status may not appear in the Business Info section of Meta Business Suite, because the verification was initiated through a partner rather than the Security Center. Your actual verification status is shown in the WhatsApp accounts section of your Business Portfolio — and always in your WOZTELL channel.
No. Business verification confirms your company's legal identity. The blue Official Business Account badge is a separate application — but you need to be verified to be eligible for it. You can request it through your Key Account Manager, and the WOZTELL team will help you.
No. PLBV requires a registered legal entity with official documentation. Government agencies also cannot use PLBV and must complete the standard process in Meta Business Manager.
No — unlike the standard flow, PLBV does not require a website. Your official business documents are what matter.
Your messaging limit increases to 2,000 business-initiated conversations per day (and scales automatically from there with good quality), you can register up to 20 phone numbers, your display name becomes visible to customers, and you become eligible to apply for the Official Business Account badge.
