Number for use with WhatsApp Business API

Number for use with WhatsApp Business API

Any number, whether landline or mobile, can serve as a WhatsApp Business API number.

The phone number you choose must have one of these two possibilities:
  1. Receive an SMS with a verification code, or
  2. Receive an international verification call
By either of these means, you will receive the activation code, that you must provide to our setup team during the setup meeting in order to complete the configuration of your Woztell solution.

It should be noted that:
  1. All phone numbers from Argentina (country code "54"), for WhatsApp must have a "9" between the country code and the area code: +54 9 XXX XXX XXX XXXX, even if it is a landline number.
  2. Phone numbers from Mexico (country code "52") must include a "1" after the "+52", even if they are from Nextel.
In both cases, it is necessary to ensure that calls or SMS can be received with the number in this format.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the number(s) you have chosen belong to you and can be used as WhatsApp numbers.
Woztell does not provide phone numbers, because we prefer you to contract the number of your choice with the provider of your choice. We take care of getting the number approved by WhatsApp, so that the number you choose is verified.
