Inbox Notification Guide

Guide to activate and manage notifications in the WOZTELL INBOX app

If you need to activate, deactivate or troubleshoot notifications in the WOZTELL INBOX app, this guide will help you manage the settings step by step on all your devices.

Check the notification settings on your device

You can enable or disable notifications according to your preferences from your device or browser settings. Below, we explain how to manage them in each case.

You can also enable or disable notifications directly from the INBOX bell icon.


A blue bell means that notifications are enabled, and a red bell means they are disabled.



It’s also important to enable notifications on your mobile device or desktop computer. Notification management may vary depending on the operating system.

On Android mobile devices

1. Press and hold the INBOX app icon.

2. Tap App info.

3. Go to Notifications and choose whether to enable or disable them.

On iOS mobile services

Chrome does not display notifications on iPhone. If you want to receive alerts from Chrome, you must enable pop-ups.

To activate pop-ups:

1. Tap More > Settings.

2. Tap Content settings > Block Pop-ups.

3. Disable Block Pop-ups.

On Windows computers (Google Chrome) 

1. Open Settings in Chrome.


2. Go to Privacy and security > Site settings > Notifications.



3. Find WOZTELL in the list.



4. Change the status to Allow or Block, depending on your preference.

On iOS computers

1. Open System Preferences > Notifications.



2. Find the INBOX app or the browser you’re using (Chrome or Safari).


3. Enable or disable notifications based on your desired configuration.

Common issues when enabling notifications

If you’ve followed all the previous steps and are still not receiving notifications, check the following points:

Make sure you are using the latest version of the INBOX app

Updates often include fixes for notification-related bugs. Ensure you're using the most recent version.

Check the channel connection

  1. Log in at platform.woztell.com/inbox.
  2. Go to Settings > Channels.
  3. Make sure all channels are connected and active.

Review browser or system permissions

Some browsers or operating systems may require extra permissions to show notifications.
  1. If you denied the permission when accessing the app for the first time, you can update it in your browser or system settings (see previous steps).
  2. Also, confirm that no notification blocker is enabled.
