Woztell's partner development plan includes various sources of income. In this article, we will discuss one of them: the sale of licenses.
See below some frequently asked questions:
How can I sell WOZTELL licenses?
The first step to selling Woztell licenses is to become a partner. You can find out the requirements for becoming a partner
here. Once you are in the system, we will assign you a unique coupon code so you can map your customers and start generating commissions. Sales can be made in 2 ways:
1- The partner purchases the license in the customer's name in order to assist with the initial process.
2- The customer purchases the license directly.
You decide if you prefer to explain the features of each license to the customer, or contact us and invite them to our daily webinars. Regardless of the option you choose, the purchase will be made on our website
www.woztell.com. Below we explain the steps for purchase:
Click on the button "Buy Now"
Follow the 5 steps in the image
In step 5, when the partner cupon code is inserted, a 25% discount will be applied to the Setup fee and the partner sale will be mapped, generating the agreed commissions.
What commissions will I make for license sales?
Commissions are based on the monthly fee for LiveChat, ChatBot, and Tailored licenses only. When a customer formalizes the purchase and enters the partner's coupon code, a commission of 25% of the setup fee + 10% of the first month's fee will be generated. In the months that follow, the partner will commission 10% of the monthly fee.
How can I track the sales?
Every month, Woztell will send a list of current commissions to all partners. You will be able to see the sales made that month plus the accumulated sales of the previous months.
What happens if my customer changes plans?
The customer could increase or decrease the subscribed plan; in either case, dependent on the chosen subscription plan (monthly or annual) the difference will be adjusted. Below we explain the different scenarios:
1- The customer paid for an inferior plan and now wants to subscribe to a superior one.
The customer can choose to continue with the same annual subscription plan, in which case we would bill the difference, or choose to change to monthly billing, where we would prorate the payments, considering prior months as paid, and the following months would be billed at the new contracted price (in both cases commissions will be adjusted to the new license subscription plan and the chosen payment method).
- Pricing if maintaining the same subscription plan:
- Prior subscription: LiveChat license $89/month x 12 months = $1,068.
- New subscription with annual billing: ChatBot license $179/month x 12 months = $2,148
The additional $1080 will be billed and the partner will receive a 10% commission of that amount.
- Pricing changing the subscription plan assuming the customer has already used 3 months:
- Prior subscription: LiveChat license $89/month x 12 months = $1,068.
- New subscription with monthly billing: ChatBot license $199/month
$1,068$ - $267 (cost per month x months used, in this case 3 = $801 / $199 (new license cost with monthly billing)
4 months of the customer's new license are considered paid, and after this, the new monthly price would apply.
The partner will receive a 10% commission of the new amount, starting after the 4th month.
2- The customer paid annually for a superior plan and now wants to subscribe to an inferior one.
In this case, Woztell will divide the amount already paid by the customer, minus the months of service used, and then divide it by the new price; the result will give us the months considered paid.
- Pricing changing the subscription model, assuming the customer has already used 3 months:
- Prior subscription: Chatbot license $179/month x 12 months = $2,148.
- New subscription with annual billing: LiveChat license $89/month x 12 months = $1,068.
$2,148$ - $537 (months used at $179) = $1,611 unused balance
$1,611 / $89 = 18 months of paid services
The partner will not see a change in the commissions already generated; starting from the 19th month until the 24th, a 10% commission on the new license subscription amount will apply.
3- The customer paid monthly for an inferior plan and now wants to subscribe to a superior one.
The new amount that will be billed will vary according to the subscription plan requested for the new license.
- Monthly billing: ChatBot license $199/month
- Annual billing: ChatBot license $199/month x 12 months = $2,148
The partner will receive a 10% commission of the new amount.
4- The customer paid monthly for a superior plan and now wants to subscribe to an inferior one.
The new amount that will be billed will vary according to the subscription plan requested for the new license.
- Prior subscription: ChatBot license $199/month
- New subscription with monthly billing: LiveChat license $99/month
- Nueva contratación con facturación anual: LiveChat license $89/month x 12 months = $1,068.
The partner will receive a 10% commission of the new amount.
Note: In any of the instances mentioned in this point, the commission will be adjusted to a maximum of 24 months.
When and where will I receive my commissions?
Commissions will be accumulated in the partner's account. The partner can request the accrual of the commissions at any time, as long as he has a minimum balance in his favor of $300 or 300€. To do so, the partner must send an invoice to Woztell with the amount to be paid.
You can receive your revenue in any bank of any country that is not considered a tax haven, or that may have a conflict of interests; you can also receive them through PAYPAL. Commissions are generated in the currencies with which WOZTELL works. You may have commissions in US dollars and Euros. If this is the case, you must indicate whether you want to receive both commissions in the same or different bank accounts.
Any expenses incurred by the payment of commissions are covered by the person receiving the payment.
For how long will I be paid commissions?
Commissions will be granted for a maximum period of 24 months, starting from the subscription date. After this period, the partner will not continue to receive commissions from that customer.
What happens if a customer cancels the service?
The customer does not have any kind of permanence, so he can cancel the service at any time. if this happens, 2 instances may occur:
1- The customer selected monthly billing: In this instance, the service will be canceled and the partner will stop receiving commissions.
2- The customer selected annual billing and requests cancellation of the service before year-end: In this instance, WOZTELL will cancel the service and refund the proportional amount of the remaining months, minus the amount corresponding to the accrued commissions of the remaining months, which will be refunded by the partner.
Example of cancellation at 6 months:
- Annual subscription: Chatbot License $199$/month x 12 months = $2,148
- Partner commissions: $214.80
- Amount refunded by WOZTELL for the remaining 6 months: $1,194 - $119.40 (amount corresponding to commissions accrued from the remaning 6 months) = $1,074,6
- Amount refunded by the partner for the remaining 6 months: $119.40
Can I lose my commissions?
In instances where WOZTELL must (1) refund money from customer payments, (2) incur special expenses not agreed upon with the customer and/or with the partner, WOZTELL may report and process the return of a commission obtained from a specific customer.
If the customer decides to change WOZTELL partners, do I lose my commissions?
Yes, the customer may choose to change partners at any time, for any reason. In this case, the current partner will lose the commissions that will accrue in the subsequent months of the contract, regardless of the time elapsed and the subscribed plan. On the other hand, the new partner will not receive a commission from the sale of the customer's license.
If after 2 years the customer terminates the service with WOZTELL and I convince them to subscribe again, do I receive commissions for the subsequent 2 years?
Commissions are generated for each WABA account license sold, so if the customer cancels the service they will lose their verified account and the partner their corresponding commissions. In the event that the client wishes to renew the service with Woztell, it will be considered a new account, with all it entails (new number, new registration, license updates, etc.). In this case, the partner will receive the commissions corresponding to the license subscription, based on the plans that Woztell markets at that time.
Will any changes in WOZTELL's future plans affect my commissions??
In a business model based on technology with SaaS-type access, commercial conditions are subject to change. It is possible that Woztell changes prices or contract models to adapt to new situations, always trying to offer the best service to its customers. In these cases, the customer may choose to keep the current plan or switch to the new one. In the event that the customer decides to change, the partner's conditions will also be modified.
