SESSION MESSAGES
A messaging session initiates "each time" we receive a WhatsApp message from a customer, and the session stays active for 24 hours.
If we receive multiple messages from the same customer, the last message will always be what determines the start of the 24-hour session.
During this session or 24-hour window, we may send messages to customers with no cost restrictions.
Messages sent from our official WhatsApp number may:
- Be text, image, video, files, etc
- Sent manually by an agent
- Sent automatically by any software
- Sent by any technology: ZOHO Flow, webhooks, etc
- Sent massively as a batch mailing
- Sent as a template that may be used even in the case the session is closed
- etc
What may limit WhatsApp allowing us the possibility of sending a message or not to a customer, is the session remaining open.
If the session is not open, we will see the "attempt to send" in our conversation as well as the "WhatsApp alert" that the window is closed.
WHATSAPP TEMPLATES
WhatsApp templates, or push notifications, are texts or images that, prior to their use, have been approved by WhatsApp. They must be requested via the interface enabled for that purpose in WOZTELL, and from the moment that WhatsApp approves them, they are available for use. Timing may vary from a few hours to a few days.
Templates have a cost that is specified on the WOZTELL pricing page.
Templates may not be commercial and must be oriented to inform the client or request their permission to initiate a conversation.
